Too hot

There ought to be a rule against workers having to do asphalt covering jobs when temps are at 97f (with a feels like of 112f). That qualified as cruel and unusual punishment to me (and of course, all of them were Latinos…)

These workers were out there all day and looked spent. My mom and I kept iced water out for them and encouraged them to come in the shade to drink it.
