Hello Cap Salou!!

Here we were on our first day of our weeks holiday, looking out from our balcony, pretty happy with ourselves.

It was only 7 days earlier that we were at home on our sofa, having a look to see if there were any last minute deals, as we felt we really wanted a week to just relax and lay around in the sun and not do very much at all!

Fast forward to this date and after waking up at 2 in the morning, driving straight through (well not surprising no traffic at that time!) to Gatwick, checked in our bags with no que (already checked into seats on line), an hour to spare to have a Nero's coffee, on the plan with an hour and a half flight which I slept the whole way though not reading a word of the magazine I brought (Empire if you're wondering), then a 20 min transfer. Has to be the most unstressful journey Matt and I have every done.

I was so pleased when we turned up at our hotel. For what we paid (seriously it was an amazing deal), the hotel and location was so much more than we thought it would be. As you can see the private beach was a stone throw away! I had a worry that the resort could be a little bit like Bendorm, a concrete jungle but it was at all. Cap Salou (about 40 min walk from main Salou), is much more quiet and ideal for us to just chill out.
