As we whizzed along the Richmond bypass, otherwise known as Whakatu Drive or State Highway 6, making our way to Nelson Airport, the sun showed its face for the first time today.

It’s a ‘no stopping’ zone so it had to be captured from the moving car.

Today has been a day of travelling between Motueka and Nelson - first for a morning appointment at the hospital, home for lunch and a relaxing afternoon before packing the car with family and luggage and driving them to the airport for their evening flight to Wellington.
As always, our home is quiet this evening after a week of fun filled happy days with our daughter and grandchildren.
