Shabbat Shalom

Another day at work. My group have finalised their idea for a campaign to raise awareness about homelessness and they were very proactive about getting stuff done which was fantastic to see. One girl even said she's very passionate about the topic so much so that she wants to continue to volunteer to help homeless individuals after the programme has finished - great news!

We also visited a fire station as part of our professional visit. I learnt how they cut cars, had the opportunity to sit in the fire engine while the fireman drove a few laps around the station and had a go at holding the water pipe while it's turned on (it's actually really difficult! The pressure is extremely high, it's a work out just holding it steady!). Sadly I didn't have my camera with me, I definitely would have taken a few snaps there although obviously I couldn't as I was still at work despite having that much fun! The bunch of us easily got as excited as a group of primary school aged children.

Arrived home and shortly after had Friday night dinner. Completely forgot it was Friday. Because I started work on Wednesday and not Monday I keep getting my days mixed up.
