Elm Row

I blipped Elm Row after I'd nipped into the chemist on my way home from work.

It's been quite heartening to see a fair few new businesses popping up on Leith Walk recently, considering all the doom and gloom about the 'current economic climate'. Elm Row is still quite daggy and dull though- apart from Pearces and Valvona & Crolla. And I have to give Vinyl Villains a bit of love!

The Chinese takeaway 'to let' here has been sitting empty for ages and I'm sure it's because of the (whisper it) tram. I hope something interesting eventually opens up in its place like a cookshop full of interesting kitchen gadgets and baking supplies. Or a cupcake bakery! YEEEEESSS! Maybe I should start my own business?!
