Turnaround
Summer today so after getting the washing out and faffing around doing not very much I got my bike out and went for a ride. There's a bridge that was damaged in last October's floods and has been closed since but I noticed a few days ago it was possible to walk across it so I factored that into my planning.
I set out the way I knew I could go to get to the old railway and this mosaic (a collage as the writing is on opposite sides and you really need it all) is as far as I got before turning round and back to the bridge. I was able to go over and chatted to 3 workmen who were doing nothing much but telling traffic it couldn't go over. They were waiting for the inspector to see if it could be fully opened.
As it was so nice out I took my felting outside to get it finished and then did a bit of gardening before coming in and watching the last bit of the Tour stage.
Evening run with the group, I was sharing the back-marking so it was quite slow but the ladies all got round.
