Dispelling myths

Apparently “Cambridge punters do it from the front.”

This rather confused me, however as the information was provided by someone who inhabits “the other” place, I had to take it with a pinch of salt.

The third of my four excursions to the Cherwell valley. Increasingly enjoying it, not the “Harry Potterness” of the experience, as wonderfully described by one of my cohort. But the sheer exhilaration of learning, perhaps I am wanting to be a perpetual student?

Needless to say to say, I didn’t punt, with cold beer on the side and a bona fide injury, I was in the royal box. Or perhaps one of Waldorf and Statler as described by my colleagues!
