Duck spent his day ....

.... keeping cool and chasing Pidgeons.
The RSPCA woman came to see him
and said he seems fine.

His Mammy swoops down now and then
and we all run inside.

I might bring my bike helmet
that I've not worn yet
and might never otherwise.

He and I were sitting quite content
late this afternoon when I suddenly thought
maybe he is not a he but a she ....

It kind of altered my whole perspective.
I don't know why.
I suppose I'd just got used to him not being a Duck
but calling him Duck
and I was too soon knocked off balance again....
