Jetty

An afternoon walk over to Isthmus bay allowed me to make this high-contrast version of the jetty and Lake. The last time I was here, the jetty was completely submerged, so it's good to see the levels dropping.

On the walk across, I was lucky enough to see a Barn owl fly past (at a distance) with a mouse in it's talons. Only had a 200mm lens with me, and even with a longer lens I wasn't nearly close enough, but I now know where they are flying, I'll pop back from time to time.
