Remembering... a lost friend

Missed a great photo opportunity on the way into work this morning, two stoats ran across the road.

However this red poppy is more poignant - taken on the edge of the potato field near the house this morning.

It was another miserable Friday in the office, and it wasn't because it was another scorching day... I wish I could afford to go part-time.

Saved, for now at least, by drinks and a curry after work with RJC and a friend.
