The culprit

Lieutenant pigeon had grasped the idea that it could land on the bird feeder to its advantage, having practised a few times. There was one terribly likely outcome. Down came pigeon, bird feeder and all. It was on the ground this morning, looking done in beside a shiny cup hook. Now it’s in the bin. Meanwhile juvenille gull thought that Yellow Dog’s roof was just the place to hang out in the sunshine. You can guess the rest. So YD has been moved to a safer location on the other side of the building. (Extra shot) I used to like birds.
