Fading Blooms

Yes, yes, I know, another flower blip. I did have options - I toggled between this and Waverley steps but every time the comparison was drawn this seemed to win hands down, despite it being past its best. It's from my garden - a contributor to a bunch of old roses and paeonies picked for the house; they are just beautiful but sadly fading away fast now.

The week has been particularly busy, especially today when I was at my desk from 0830 am until 2100 but the weekend is here and I'm so looking forward to it.
