Blending
Last night’s dinner didn’t go to plan. We picked up our friends and were just arriving at the pub when a message came through from friends who had already arrived, that there were two fire engines, an ambulance and lots of smoke. No idea what happened.
Another restaurant was phoned and they could cater for six. Also it was alongside a lake and we could enjoy the water sports before being called inside for dinner. Very pleasant.
Today has been hectic as I was joining a group of people from camera club at Houghton House (ruin) for a session on panning using only manual settings and then blending modes using ND filters. Fortunately mine is variable, which made it marginally easier. This was the result.
We then travelled to Marston Vale for a light lunch followed by trying to capture motion of the wind turbine, again using ND filters and manual settings. The last exercise was flash portraiture and I now have to try and blend two of the images I took. I may need a Zoom lecture.
