Here we go ….
Just starting a long overdue project, an 8 day clock made from wood (apart from the metal arbors & bushes). So the cogs, mechanisms etc are all wooden. And I’m getting to grips with terms such as pendulum pawl, pinions ratchets, arbors, count wheels, pendulum fulcrum, clock wheels, clutch plates, click wheels, winding barrels & stop arms. Today I started squaring the frame. This will take some time!
