Wild flowers

Rob and I had a trip to Scout Scar, in search of the elusive Frog Orchids.
We were amazed! The whole place is a sea of wild flowers. We have never before seen it looking like this. There is scabious, clover , Lady’s bedstraw, red and white clovers, harebells and so much more. The damp weather and low grazing numbers seem to be exactly right.
And we did find the Frog Orchids, not very many but easy enough to see if you are looking.
It’s really worth a visit in the next few weeks.
