Starling the limelight

This was the only photo I took today, the local birds having a morning confab, probably about power to weight ratios, aerodynamics, and the latest trends in caterpillar haute cuisine.

Another day of solving other people's problems at work, for something that wasn't really my business but I just happen to have the necessary experience and expertise.  A quick trip to the shops afterwards in the fresh air should have helped me unwind a bit, but I was nearly crashed into on a roundabout by someone who didn't indicate, and I just sighed and rode home again.

Still. my new book arrived in the post today to read at meal times.  Only 400 pages to go!
