What’s in a name?

Quite a lot of history it would appear.

Ahead of the union of three churches, we are each clearing out and tidying up as one of the churches is due to be sold. This plaque has come to light as a result.

The church being sold is Craigmillar Park but the name on the plaque refers to a previous building with that name. I understand it was located where the Edinburgh Mosque now stands.

I need to do more research when I have time!
