Sunny morning! Did a bit of festival planning and then a local walk along by the beach and up to a ‘road’ - actually a country lane - and back into the village. Walked up to the pub for lunch - a bit disappointing- and then to the shop to buy something for supper. Read by the sea in the afternoon and had tea and cake back at the cottage and read some more. Finished The Jetty in the evening on iplayer. Lots of twists and turns in the plot.
