It all started so beautifully

Trouble sleeping Thursday night so awake 4am(ish) decided to take Ted out up the hills about 5.30pm, really lovely couple of hours. This photo is taken looking towards Coombe Hill, from the foot of Cymbelines Mount we then walk round the hill and into a Box Wood, one of only a few in the Country, lovely but it does have that certain smell! Then it's round the top of Happy Valley, down Rifle Range Hill from the Iron Age Hill Fort and back through the village to home.

Day did not end well as Ted and I were attacked by a small dog whilst on our evening walk, Ted bitten all around his back end, especially his tail but thankfully no blood drawn, I on the other hand got bitten on my forearm and ended up in A&E for a tetanus shot and antibiotics. This is not the forum for a rant but surely if your dog has even the slightest tenancy to attack other dogs you keep it on a lead?
