At last

Our hydrangea’s green buds have eventually turned rapidly into deep pink flowers, nearly all at once!  It is a miniature shrub.  I would really like to get a bigger hydrangea to go elsewhere in the garden.  Probably off to the local nursery again early next week.

An even hotter day than yesterday and the cooling fan has been brought out.  It has only previously been brought out for a few days of hot weather at the end of June.  Cooling down again tomorrow I believe, and then more rain.
