A gardening morning in an effort to get on top of it before the rain that’s forecast for tomorrow afternoon. Then to the recycling site with all the bags of garden waste. Loads of traffic and it took ages to get from my end of Ambleside to the other and back.

After lunch I decided to do a bit more work at the front and side where there was shade.

It was 3 o’clock when I went for a walk. Headed up Kirkstone (in the photo) then through the fields to the farm.

The much dreaded car insurance renewal arrived this morning. I’ve heard of some massive increases so was really pleased (and relieved) that it’s only £12 more than last year.
