Pressing on ....

In a fit of enthusiasm T started painting the hall - partly inspired by having new windows upstairs, partly motivated by sections of current carpet looking distinctly worn. A carpet hunting we will go. 

I, in the meantime, am pondering bathroom designs and thinking about which showroom to visit. 
 
The two front downstairs windows were also fitted today and I am also thinking of what curtains/blinds to put up. I rather like the curtains we have in lounge but may get the shortened. The dining rooms ones on the other hand are going. 

In today's other news I escaped this morning for a swim and coffee. It was lovely to catch up with folk I hadn't seen for while.
