Friday

After Kelly had been unwell all week and part of the holiday she was admitted to hospital yesterday. Steven asked for help with the boys as they don't go to holiday club on a Friday; Kelly has them. I went along at 9.30am. As K had been unwell all week and S back at work all their holiday laundry was in several states of needing to be washed, half dry, wet, in the washing machine and needing ironed. I said to S I'd concentrate on all that today as boys are at a stage of playing outside, inside with friends etc. I hung clothes outside, which is a novelty for me!  Sorted clothes horse, and added to it. Their ironing pile was huge. Apart from an hour taking them out for lunch I spent 7 hours ironing. 
Steven came home early, he treated me to a Chinese and then they went along to see K.  My back is sore as are my knees and my hand from holding the iron!
