A Polis Box

One of the 75 remaining police boxes in Edinburgh out if the 142 originally installed. Some have been turned Into to coffee shops but sadly not this one. In the old days the police man could make a cuppa and keep himself warm with a little heater. They were phased out in the 1970s. This one is decorated with graffiti and a  relief of Edinburgh castle. (Extra)  Round the corner is an EV charger where MrP is sitting in his car browsing BBC Sport.  I've gone for a walk to stretch my legs.
