Evening walk

A lovely sunny day today. The temperature even got into the high teens! The denim skirt was back on!


Despite the heat, I finally decided to cut down a large echinops which was shading lots of smaller plants. There's a smaller one elsewhere in the garden, it would be a shame to lose it completely as the bees love it. I  moved a some self seeded annuals from the veg beds into the space and it's looking okay. It will need masses of water for the next few days, but they should be okay. I've been thinking about doing this for the last couple of years and today I just went for it!

These friendly cows always come to say hello - whichever field they are in, we keep finding them!
