Helmsley Walled Garden

A very hot day. We all went to the market this morning for a look round. Hog Roast sausage rolls were bought for lunch which were delicious. 
Rachel was struggling with the heat so I went to the Walled Garden myself in the afternoon. It was beautiful and the "hot border" certainly lived up to its name today.
I bought some little alpine plants that were marked down which will need to get  planted as soon as I get back. I also got a hydrangea so I'll have to decide where to put it.
When I got back Lando was enjoying playing in a basin of water in the back garden. 
For the second year in a row we got  fish suppers for the last meal of the holiday.
