Lightning Seed

Well, I'm back in Liverpool and back at work after my week off, so it's time to catch up with some friends and have a bite to eat at the Camp and Furnace.

Glancing up from my table, I noticed that the bar was being propped up by local musical legend Ian Broudie (on the left) - a one-time member of Big In Japan, Original Mirrors and, most famously, the Lightning Seeds.

He's also produced some great music by fellow Merseysiders, Echo and the Bunnymen, the Pale Fountains, Shack, Icicle Works, The Zutons and The Coral. Respect!
