Not so Common

Common Gull, Larus canus


This gull is nowhere near as common as its common name implies.  On the other hand, they are not scarce enough to get excited about.


They look a bit like a demure herring gull about the size of a black-headed gull.  They often hang out with b-h gulls but this one was all on its own.
