HYDRANGEAS

My walking partner has this whole hedge of
HYDRANGEAS along a wall, in her courtyard. I am always happy to see them,
because are one of my favorite plants. In
Michigan I grew every variety possible.
Here, our alkaline soil & merciless summer
sun makes it difficult.

Today, was the first day of our week long
HEAT ADVISORY. My car has been in the shop for 10 days, & today it was ready. So
I went out, in the hottest part of the day,
to pick it up. I was so happy, I didn’t
notice how hot it was. Tomorrow will
be hotter, so I will definitely notice.
