The waiting game

I had planned to catch up on blips 2 days ago but didn't quite make it.  Friday morning then became THE day it would happen....... until a phone call that blew everything out of kilter.  No details;  suffice to say I arrived in Melbourne at 8.00am local time this morning and it's been a long,  hard day with lots of waiting, lots of talking,  lots of texting, lots of tea, lots of gratitude and lots of love ❤️.

I'm with Kendy right now having a quiet talk, holding her hand and even a little kiss.  She is in such good hands...... the staff and support has been incredible.  Talked with nurse Dom who has told me K is unwell but stable.....a whole heap better than yesterday's unwell and unstable.  They're monitoring her regularly and she's given some response to being asked questions.  She in an induced coma to help her breathing and keep pressure of her chest and abdomen area. Still a long way to go but very positive signs of heading - slowly/cautiously - in the right direction.  Critical surgery tomorrow....... F, H and S should be here by then. xx
