Orchids

Our orchid collection was increased with some beautiful orchids grown by our friend who sadly died at Easter, her husband has gone to stay with their daughter and we have been given the task of looking after R's orchids.  They were always blooming in her house she must have kept them in the best position, I hope that we can keep them as well as she did.
The usual Friday - coffee morning in the village, it was book club afterwards, not many folk there but everyone was unanimous in their enjoyment of Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
