Golden Girl

Today Millie ran in the Open Womens Race at the Canterbury Cross Country Race at the Halswell Quarry in Christchurch. This is a regional provincial race with the first 2 place getters in each grade being selected to represent the Canterbury Centre at the New Zealand Cross Country champs in Hamilton on the 3rd of August. Millie lead right from the start and by the time she was at the hill within the first half of the first lap,Millie held a commanding lead of 35m and maintained this right to the finish of her 4km race winning Gold in the Youth 17 grade.
