A quiet day. Although probably not if you work for Microsoft or Crowdstrike. It’s exactly this kind of ‘oh shit’ moment that I don’t miss at all. I had numerous argumentsdiscussions with my previous manager about how a particular project was sleepwalking into exactly this kind of widespread failure. I was accused of being negative and pessimistic (which is probably true). But that didn’t make me wrong.
