G is for Grasshopper!

I knew it wouldn't take much time to get a photo of one.  There were three at the Back Porch Cafe this morning, one of which was sitting on the door.  Such prehistoric looking creatures and it is a sure sign we are in mid-summer.  Another cool morning and I love it!  I might even take a toddle out to the garden although everything is so dry.  It is not a pretty sight.  The dooryard phlox is having a very poor showing this year.  We need rain!
