Francisco

This morning early I went to collect some goat's milk from our farmer neighbour. His son, Francisco, is the goatherd of their 300 or so goats. I would love for the grandies to visit one day next week and asked him if that would be feasible. He said anytime!

Here he is in the goat milking parlour which produces around 400 litres a day. It is so uplifting to see the younger generation taking up this role with a passion for the local Malagueña goats and a pride in the excellent quality goat's cheese which is produced in this area of Andalucia.

The grandchildren have all arrived, three of them last night around 11pm after a delay of around six hours and the other two this afternoon. Its been a quiet day settling in for them and getting used to the 38C heat.
