Mother Nature's Planting Scheme

This season I have only let about 1/6th of my lawn to do its own thing. The grass has produced delicate seeds heads that blow in the slightest breeze, dandelions stretch to their full height but are still out grown by the Fox & Cubs. 

Dominant of all the self seeded plants are the lupins which continue to flower but have produced so many seed pods I wonder if next year the wild section will need to double in size.
