Scrubs up pretty well

This morning was sunny and quite warm and although it took me ages to get going, again, I cycled into town to the Bike Recycling Place, again, this time to look for a seat post for Mirabel.  The one she has is perfectly functional but the Brooks saddle has a very short range of adjustment fore-aft, and really needs a bit more aft.  I got two to try, one with more aftiness than the other.

I was going to say hello at Laid Back Bikes but decided I wanted to get home to wash a motorbike, so took a slightly longer way because it was so nice and warm for once, and stopped by the big pond to see how the swans were doing.  Parent was busy grooming itself, and little one decided it needed to do some grooming too.

A pit stop at Halfords for some duct tape to re-re-re-repair the shredded motorbike cover and then home for a late lunch, then the bucket and sponge came out.

Naturally, having given the machine a good clean, it started raining, and it hasn't stopped since.  What is going on with this summer's weather?
