Thistle field

Another fine morning for parkrun, though pretty sticky in the heat. 

Later, by the time I’d had lunch and had a look at the paper, taken out some recycling, etc, I decided to tackle a bit of garden tidying. Unfortunately, this  didn’t last long before the rain started. I worked on for a bit, until it got too wet. It’s now raining fairly steadily, but it’s quite nice sitting inside with the French doors open. I’ve put my houseplants outside on the step for a little bit of therapy for them. They have to be pretty tough in my house as they tend to get a bit neglected!
