Cooking tonight
Pasta with lemon and garlic. It’s very simple and straightforward and really delicious
It’s 7.40pm as I post this and guests arriving at 8.
I bought best quality ice cream and will serve it with my plum jam/syrup drizzled over it and a topping of smashed toasted hazelnuts.
I love entertaining and when I was little my mammy also loved it. And I could never understand why you have to tidy your house, blow your budget on food and put candles in your driveway. But now I know.
Wisdom comes with age and experience (or so they tell me).
Anyway gotta go. The water for the pasta is boiling
