The hummingbird hawk-moth

I asked from neighbor, if I could photograph nice flowers from their garden gate. I got permission. Late evening I went there to see if last light from sun give a good light to flowers.

The hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellataru, FIN etelänpäiväkiitäjä) came to eat to flowers. I having old manual lens with me. I still wonder how I managed to capture this. I set  aperture to 4 to get more deep of field and increased shutter speed.

I think these are the best moments in photography. You just wonder how it happened and how you managed to take this photo. In the end, you just feel happiness.
