End of day one

It’s been a very intense day! It is definitely a little ‘rough edges’ for me ( no seam neatening!) but I’m pleased with how it is taking shape. I’m still debating the bright gold of the collar, and possibly the lapels too - I think it’s detracting from the peacock pattern… it’s just pinned, so it might be something very different tomorrow! 
It’s a lovely bunch of people who have travelled from all over the country.
