Red Leaf Maple

Three hummingbirds are fighting for rights to the flowers blooming in my backyard; this one was guarding the area from the nearby Maple Tree. I usually don't post a bird without a "sparkle" in its eye, but I like the maple's red blur.

I am posting this a day late because I walked on the beach while Ellie was at camp and we got busy after camp doing a painting project.
