Change in the weather!

We were woken at 5.30am with a violent thunderstorm!

The wind was amazing! Heavy rain + lightning too!

After breakfast it was back to normal...

So we set off on our walk to Blatten...just as we got there the heavens opened!

We were saved by a mountain hut cafe!

Hot chocolate and apfel strudel went down a treat! 

Note the fabulous lampshade too.

A wet walk back to our hotel, but we have all the wet weather gear.

Home tomorrow...early start...trains to Geneva...flight to Edinburgh...drive home!

What a superb week we've had!!!
