Planes, Cotswolds and a sloping walled Garden

MrK and I had a morning walk along the River Thames at Lechlade, plane spotting and enjoying the sunshine. Many planes were going unto Fairford and Brize Norton. FK had a bit of a lie in, then car packed and off for brunch. More plane spotting and the boys were in their element, checking with the radar and naming the planes. An emotional goodbye and drop off at RIAT and so excited for him. There were thousands of people and planes arriving. You can just park and view, or camp, park and view at various places, without even going in. All very exciting and definitely something we'd all like to do together another time. We drove on to Cerney house and garden with it's sloping walled garden, medicinal herb garden and the most beautiful Rose called Nostalgia. Entrance was honesty box aswell as the cafe in the bothy. A very special place. We stopped at Burford for an ice cream and mooch, before heading home. 620miles in 4 days and the only traffic jam was M25 . A wonderful few days.
