a pair of buntings

At first I saw this odd couple side by side on an electrical wire. The blue bird caught my eye. But as I swung my camera up off they flew to the bushes, quite a bit apart. Maybe it was something he said.
Anyway, when I got home and put them on the big screen,  I was pleased to identify them as male and female Lazuli Buntings.
