Annual water lily shot

Taken this morning before setting off for Scotch Corner for an overnight stop on route for Keswick.

What an interminable journey. Dartford Tunnel solid for miles (probably something to do with Brands Hatch) and hold up north of Newark and another a little further on. Now stuck in another jam. Sheer volume of traffic. This one looks like roadworks.

We don’t get many water lilies in our pond, one or two a year at best as it’s more in the shade than in the sun.
