Afternoon Drinks

In the garden.

We did walk down to our pub in the village (posh country inn ) just before 2 only one car in the car park and the door was open ,a young lady was on reception and I could see a bloke behind the bar she asked us if we were eating we said we just wanted a drink she said the bar doesn’t open till 3 ‘ o’clock the restaurant is open for food and drinks. We walked out and went home and sat in our garden.

They are obviously making enough money , but an empty bar and empty restaurant on a Saturday afternoon in summer and how many staff are they paying if it was my business it would be open for all.
Well maybe not riffraff :-)))
