Gardener of Eden

Our apartment has very well maintained front-yard - it seems that there was a talented architect responsible for the landscaping some years back. Now everything has gone a bit decay but at least some beautiful flowers remain on our way to the garbage bins.

I wonder why it seems that previously we only took one bag of garbage out every now and then while nowadays it's always four bags and lost organic waste. And two of the four bags smell of faint popcorn - or baby nappies.
