Allotment tales

We went to see Caspar this morning and went to the allotment with him for a while. It’s doing well despite the large number of slugs and snails this year as well as deer who like to nibble anything they can get to. But the sweetcorn is doing well and the potatoes and there are still a few beans winding their way up the canes! My blip is wild carrot spotted in the allotments.
Extra is the lovely box of French chocolates that Lucy bought back from her holiday to thank me for the unexpected overnight stay I had at their house when they were away. They are very delicious, they’re the sort of chocolates when one is never enough.
