Day 14 Rhine Route

Day 14 Vianen to Rotterdam 60km, very hot day. Really hot from the start, mainly following the Lek, as the Rhine splits into a few channels here. First stop Nieuport a cute little star shaped village for coffee. Then through Kinderdjk, where the long row of windmills are, suddenly hundreds of tourists on the track. Then we took a water bus, and had a good break at Sikkerveer, we were v thirsty. This was pretty much the outskirts of Rotterdam. We got an upgrade to a much nicer room at the hotel, then went to find out about trains to get home. Not going to be easy!
We walked 12,000 steps around Rotterdam, quite a big modern city, quite busy on Saturday night. The blip is of the quite new Markthal, beautiful very special building.
